Timeless elegance meets Mid-century charm in this Ercol 203 armchair and footstool set. This Mid-century icon was restored to its former glory, showcasing the beauty of its solid wood frame.
The original stained colour adds a touch of authenticity, while sanded and re-stained arms bring out the true beauty of the wood grain that was hiding underneath.
The deep cushions have been upholstered in a combination of pure linen and block printed canvas. The teal linen has a textured appearance and contrasts beautifully with the colour of the wooden frame. The border of the cushions feature a repeated black triangle pattern, inspired by Scandinavian design and hand block printed by artisans in Rajasthan, India.
A matching lumbar cushion is included in the set.
The chair is an original vintage piece, which has been restored with a lot of care. As with all vintage pieces, you will find inevitable signs of age and usage, that brings added character to the item.
