Part of Tālaʻs Inside out range. The pattern from the inside is subtly revealed on the outside once the light is switched on.
The block print on the inside was created by master artisans in India using hand-carved wood blocks and age old techniques passed from generation to generation
The lampshade is completed with a rusty orange Khadi cotton on the outside.
Khadi is a hand woven cotton made with hand spun yarn and it often shows slight irregularities and slubs, making it more visually interesting and textured than its mechanically woven counterpart, which can seem flat and lifeless in comparison.

Please note: Most of Tāla's lampshades can be made to measure, depending on the availability and width of the fabric. Please get in touch if you are looking for a different size. Waiting time for a shade not in stock is about two weeks after I have confirmed all the materials are available.
