A collaboration with artist Peter Rackley, this art deco inspired lampshade will create an arresting talking point in your home.
The original design was hand drawn by Peter, his highly detailed and layered work is all about precision and creating beauty from chaos. The end result radiates calmness and balance and it complements beautifully Tāla's choice of fabrics and colours.
Peter's work has been printed on cotton and placed on the inside of the lampshade, while on the outside the lampshade is finished off with a textured European laundered linen in a choice of three colours.
The large pendant lampshade looks pretty sleek with the light off but it turns utterly decadent as the light is turned on and Peter's work shines through, becoming visible on the outside.
It looks stunning as a centre piece in a living room or dining room especially when hanging over the dinner table.
We currently have a couple of cerulean blue lampshades in stock or you can preorder them in forest green and sunny yellow. The waiting time is two weeks from order.
Please get in touch if you would like this unique artwork in a different colour and we will be able to suggest a choice of fabrics to complement your interiors.
